Courtney Suddes is a trainer, facilitator, coach & artist. She runs an educational consulting firm that provides training and coaching on trauma-informed practices and trauma recovery, as well as inclusive, reparative and relationship-building communication skills.
She will walk us through how past trauma's can determine how your client's are dealing with today's financial decisions. DMM's dealing with clients who practice avoidance, inability to make decisions, over and under spending and even hiding important financial information from their partners or family, may be experiencing reactive behavior due to past trauma.
Courtney's background includes: coaching with incarcerated communities, mediation, civil rights law, Non-Violent Communication (NVC), Internal Family Systems (IFS), brain science, trauma recovery & adult education and leadership development.
Courtney has developed and implemented training programs for schools, local governments and the federal sector. She uses her art and graphic design skills to bring her work to life, believing that art can help people connect to information that can be challenging or activating.
