How will New Tax Laws Affect Your Clients Returns?

    J. David Arnette, CPA and owner of Premier Tax Advisors, P.C., brings over twenty years of experience to bear to your tax problems. David has more than fifteen years of experience in local public accounting firms, ranging in size from two to thirty people. Here David has worked with the issues of small businesses, from bank reconciliations and payroll and property tax returns on up to advanced tax planning and research. David began his career in a large local Atlanta CPA firm, exposing him to the issues faced by small businesses early in his career. He worked in the tax department of a Fortune 100 company and in one of the “Big Four” public accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers.

After David formed his own firm in 2002, David worked for several years in an alliance with another small CPA firm specializing in partnership taxation, giving David ten years of experience with partnerships. Many of David’s existing clients are individuals who have small businesses they operate through S corporations. Together, these experiences have given David a wealth of knowledge in the most common forms of doing business.

Most of David’s clients are in the legal and medical fields, although many of his clients are corporate executives. David has experience with US taxation of international transactions. Many of his clients have real estate investments. David earned a Master of Taxation in 1992 from the University of South Carolina. His undergraduate degree was in accounting, also from the University of South Carolina.

David will highlight some of the more notable changes in the tax laws, which could affect your clients for the 2025 and 2026 tax filing years.
